Niall O’Flynn, Rascal chair

The Rascal chair was designed by Niall O’Flynn (1959-present) for Dutch manufacturer ‘t Spectrum Bergeijk. It is comprised of a tubular galvanized metal frame and a woven metal seat. An intelligent use of minimalistic and industrial materials, the Rascal chair is skeletal but ergonomic. It reflects O’Flynn’s training as an architect and interior designer where he consistently sought to transform the base materials of industry into things of sleek beauty and comfort.
