Milos Gras is a Spanish artist who has been working across painting, sculpture, jewellery and furniture since the 80s. She studied applied arts at Goldsmiths University in London and at the Massana school of Barcelona. Her practice has employed a large range of materials and processes but is bound by a refined, playful and poetic aesthetic.
These sculptural chairs are defined by their distinctive backrests that have been crafted from a thin bands of flat bar metal. The whimsical meandering form of the backrests is balanced by a more rational framework at the base. Photographed in their original fabric, however, we can upholster them on request using a material of your choice. The chairs are structurally sound with some minor aging to the metalwork.
