Medium 1950s Italian brass mirror

An elegant Italian wall hung brass mirror, slim-line brass edge and soft radial corners. This one has an extenuated curvy form that gives it a lot of character. The silhouette is quintessential of Italian 1950s modernist styling perhaps most notably expressed within the works of Gio Ponti, curved at the top, tapering inwards towards the base. Its size and shape lend itself to being used in a hallway or in a bathroom. Wear to brass. Minor foxing to glass. Wooden back has patina.
