The 626 floor lamp was designed by Joe Colombo with the aim of utilising the newly invented halogen bulb. It is believed to be one of the first domestic light to utilise this new bulb.
The floor lamp stands at a tall 200cm with a heavy base for stability. The reflector shade is fully adjustable allowing it to sit both high or low on the stand and can also be turned to omit light where you wish. The light is also dimmable, making for a very versatile and functional piece.
Minor marks to the stem and base, consistent with age.
