A beautifully formed gourd vase with slender neck is imbued with earthy tones and textures, hinting of fossilisation or a geological sample. The surface is delicately punctured with a finish often referred to as white lava glaze, or crater-glaze. Signed underside with ‘RS 4 YS 4’, maker unknown. In excellent condition.
