Early 1900s constructivist wooden chair and ottoman. Naïve in style, the seat back makes a perfect arch. The paint has faded to a wonderful celadon colour. Original upholstery in faded green velvet and dark green vinyl. The maker is unknown, but it is definitely a handmade one-off and suspected art piece as there is a ripped gallery label underside. Perfectly early Hockney or current Nathalie du Pasquier in colouring and shape.
