At once ergonomic and supremely elegant, this pioneering office chair was a revelation when it was first released to the market in 1980. A decade later the International Federation of Architects declared it “the chair that most influenced modern office seating”. The die-cast aluminium frame is upholstered with a padded leather seat and backrest, while a lever allows precise control over the seated position.
This sought-after iteration has a pleat in the centre of the leather backrest. Six available.
In good vintage condition, with some scratching on the metal back. There are a few minor abrasions to the leather surface, and the seat is shiny from use.
