Kandya, manufacturer of British furniture was at the forefront of British mid-century design, employing designers such as Paul Bridston and Carl Jacobs to make what is now highly collectable utility furniture with pleasing lines from low cost materials such as metal, ply and Formica.
This simple Program bar stool by Frank Guille is a great example of Kandya’s design ethos. Simple in form and extremely comfortable to sit on. Upholstered in white vinyl, the seat has a minor damage towards the back corner of the stool. The wooden backrest is restored conservatively. Will be supplied with new rubber ferules on each foot.
