These charming tables – for use as desks or dining – are made from solid wood have a lovely handmade quality to them. They are unmarked and possibly prototypes, with a design aesthetic alluding to the works of renowned Italian architect Carlo Scarpa and designer Franco Poli. There are some standout features. They float on ebonised feet and the legs have slits to allow shafts of light through. They are topped with a series of circular brass pins.
The tables are in excellent structural condition and could hold a lot of weight if required. There are some surface marks and scuffs across their surfaces and one of the tables tops shows a gap in one of the planks.
