Ancient rustic wooden planter


Catalonia, 1700s

This beautifully aged wooden planter was made in the 1700s, likely from the region of Catalonia in Spain or just over the French border. Carved from one solid tree truck with a thick wall and base. We think it is made of cherry wood. The surfaces show signs of age and use but it remains in good structural condition.
