This abstract sculptural work comprises of three stone elements that seemingly balance on top of each other. This precarious assemblage is, in fact, held together by a concealed metal rod. At first glance it resembles a very primitive maquette of Ettore Sottsass’ famous Tahiti lamp for Memphis Milano. The stone used has age to it and shows natural blemishes across all its surfaces. Its aesthetic is still on point today, fitting within prevalent trends in contemporary sculpture. It is in good condition for its age with dust and dirt in places, further cleaning upon request.
