Abstract marble sculpture

As much an artefact to handle and caress as a sculptural object, this marble piece retains the ruggedness of nature but combines it with artistic form. A skein of veins is revealed through the direct carving, and the shaping of the rock gives voice to the crystalline, semi-translucent, and variegated colouration that is harboured within. It is a quietly monumental cloud form, and a minimalistic but characterful centrepiece.
