Wireframe sofa and footstool

Rare design attributed to Mobili Pizzetti. The footstool is more commonly found un-upholstered with a mahogany top. The matching love seat comfortably seats two and has a wireframe leg construction exactly like the stool. After extensive research we have found other examples of the stool, but are yet to find another example of the love seat model. Both pieces feature very pleasing oval elements, which have been recently upholstered in an off white linen, which has been scotch guarded to protect it from stains and marks. The metal framework shows minor signs of wear, however, it is still in excellent condition for its age.
