Wim den Boon rush chair

This beautiful bow shaped chair harks back to the stripped back designs of Charlotte Perriand. Its triangular seat make it ideal for corners of rooms however, it can hold itself well if positioned more centrally. The design features a small storage shelf below the seat, as well as an angular backrest and chunky rush seat. Its pastoral form and rustic texture gives it a lovely character.

The chair is in good vintage condition bearing years of use in the forms of scratches and minor losses to the (possibly later) paintwork. The seat is very sit-able with one or two stray rush threads. We are happy to offer the chair as is or the buyer can opt to have the frame restored and/or the rush seat replaced.
