Kandya manufacturer of British furniture was at the forefront of British midcentury design, employing designers such as Frank Guille and Carl Jacobs to make what is now highly collectable utility furniture in pleasing lines from low cost materials such as metal, ply and formica. This simple backless bar stool by Paul Bridston is a great example of Kandya’s design ethos. Simple in form and extremely comfortable to sit on.
