Massimo Danielis is a German artist who studied in several schools across Europe. He refined his practice through completing a Masters degree at the Academy of Fine art in Munich. He is actively engaged with exhibiting and has showed extensively across Europe. This Aquatint by him reduces the themes of his practice down to its essence, exploring the boundaries of form and volume through the layering of mark making. Some of his works are heavily built up however, we rather like this simplicity of this piece. The work is titled Motiv 2 from the 2004 series Versus-Suite II, one of Danielis many series experimenting in this style. The image is signed and is an edition of 25.
