This icon of 20th century design was created in 1970 by Japanese engineer and designer Isao Hosoe for Valenti, Italy. Hebi translates as Snake in Japanese, a fitting title.
The flexible metal tube is covered in PVC that can be twisted in every direction. The lamp shade can be rotated as well. This fully adjustable lamp allows you to direct the light according to your needs. The Hebi lamp is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art New York. Excellent condition with original red switch and plug. In working order, PAT testing on request.
