An early plywood desk on splayed legs designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe.
Braakman was the head designer at UMS Pastoe, one of the largest and most respected Dutch modernist furniture manufacturers of the era. The drawers have Braakman’s trademark curved bent ply interiors. An ingenious design feature to prevent objects and dust from getting stuck in the corners. A recessed shelf is present at the rear of the desk allowing for extra storage / display. L123 D64 H72cm D034 |
